Mark Uniat

Mark is the CEO, Founder and acting Construction Manager of Kalamoir. He has directly managed 100+ projects, totaling over $1 billion, in the industrial, institutional, civil, commercial, land development and residential sectors. He has had success managing projects utilizing a range of contract models including stipulated sum, general tender, design-build, EPC, and construction management, and always works alongside our clients to setup their projects for success. Mark has completed his MBA and is PMP and LEED G.A. certified. He founded Kalamoir in 2020.

Shane Melanson

Shane brings 20+ years of real estate experience, with a specific focus and expertise in developing, multifamily, industrial and retail. As a developer, he speaks the language of raising capital, commercial finance, working with municipalities for new development, client relations, and contract negotiations.  He has a large network of builders, developers, investors, and tenants in Alberta, BC and Canada. Shane always has Kalamoir’s clients and business partners in mind, and his experience and expertise is critical to everyone’s success.

Taylor Shoup

Taylor has 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, where he has managed numerous types of projects including education facilities, tenant improvements, base buildings, residential housing, envelope restorations, and project recoveries. As Kalamoir’s General Manager, Taylor manages our internal accounting, assets, service & warranty, and has a keen eye for operational functionality early-on in the development process. He understands that the key to a successful project lies in an open line of communication & exceptional client service.

Matthew is a seasoned construction professional and the acting Chief Operating Officer of Kalamoir. With 25+ years of industry experience, he has successfully managed 65+ projects totaling over $1 billion across sectors such as medical, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, residential, financial, and infrastructure. As COO, Matthew provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and financial management to drive efficiency and profitability in construction and development projects. He focuses on optimizing business operations, building high-performance teams, and aligning operational goals with business growth.
